Since the young age of 3, worship music has been flowing through Ross’ veins and has always left him thirsting for more. “My parents have pictures of me as a toddler sitting in front of the entertainment center with headphones on, listening to Handel’s Messiah.” Ross says. “I still remember just laying on the floor of the living room, listening to Steven Curtis Chapman for hours. Now when I look back I can see that it was all just preparing me for this.”
Ross Crawford is a worship artist and songwriter from Tulsa, Oklahoma and has been an “okie” his whole life. With a Methodist minister for a father and a music teacher for a mother, the call to be a worship artist came early. As a preacher’s kid, Ross was afforded the opportunity to sing in church often while growing up, reaffirming his calling and desire to worship. Upon graduating high school, he earned his first job as a worship leader right in the church he grew up in. Since then, he just can’t stop.
In 2011, Ross decided to try his hand at writing his own music, and instantly fell in love with it. Since then, he has shared his music with thousands of people in worship services across the Midwest, and has shared the stage with artists such as Hawk Nelson, Stars Go Dim, Austin French and many more. Now, he is recording his originals and sharing them on a much bigger platform.
